Battery cell prices continue to decline as lithium supply improves and LFP chemistry gains more volume.

Automakers are using the cost relief in different ways. Some are reducing sticker prices, while others are keeping prices stable and improving standard equipment. Tesla still benefits from software updates and Supercharger access, but rivals are closing the gap.

Analysts expect total cost of ownership to become a stronger purchase driver for fleet buyers in 2026.
